How to Give DIV Columns Equal Heights

If you’ve struggled to make two DIVs the same height for as long as I have, you will be happy to know JOATIT has found a wonderful solution.

 

Googling I found JOATIT’s blog post “How To Make Sure Two Divs Are The Same Height.” I used their code to align the height of the content and sidebar DIVs for this blog.

 

The post includes a simple javascript solution. Just insert the code inside the <HEAD> section of your pages and change the javascript variable names to be the same as your DIV ids. Comment if you need any help getting the script working.

Drawing Application for EmblemHealth is complete

EmblemHealth contracted us to develop a flash application for their employees to paint around their logo. The drawings they recieve will be judged by company executives, and the best entries will be used in the company’s marketing campaign.

 

You can paint your own masterpiece here and look at what other people have created.  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

 

EmblemHealth provides health insurance to millions of New Yorkers. The EmblemHealth brand was launched in August of 2008, as a result of the blockbuster merger between the two largest New York based health insurance companies - GHI and Health Insurance Plan of New York.

These SEO tools are powerful sources of information about how your website is viewed by search engines, as well as a useful way to monitor your SEO progress.

 

The following are a list of the best SEO tools I’ve found:

 

Google Analytics - If you aren’t using Google analytics yet, sign up, NOW.

 

Raven SEO - A series of analyzers that devour the SEO of your website to the bone. If you don’t want to sign-up for an account, you can quickly run Raven’s SEO analyzer to see how optimized your pages are for search engines.

 

SiteYogi - This tool ranks everything from your Google PageRank, and the value of your keywords, to CSS validation.

 

SEOMoz - A deep resource of SEO advice and tools. To get the most out of SEO Moz’s offerings you need to sign-up for an account, but they still offer a number of free tools, notably Trifecta, which checks the strength of your pages/blog/sites SEO.
